The ballot you will receive for the March 3, 2020 presidential primary is determined by your political party.
If you are registered with a party you will be issued that party’s ballot.
If you are NOT registered with a party you will be issued a ballot that does not contain presidential candidates.
- You can request a ballot with presidential candidates from the Democratic, American Independent, or Libertarian parties.
- To vote for presidential candidates in the Republican, Green, or Peace and Freedom parties, you must re-register to vote with that party.
If you vote by mail verify your registration is correct so you will be mailed the ballot you want. If you are not registered with a party, you can call 925-335-7800 or email email@example.com to request a ballot from the Democratic, American Independent, or Libertarian parties.
If you vote at the polls verify your registration is correct so you will be issued the ballot you want on Election Day.
