Red Ballot Box at one of the drop off locations

Contra Costa voters will find it easier to vote in upcoming elections, as the County Elections Office and City Clerks have teamed up to
provide free and convenient “CoCo Vote-N-Go” drop off locations prior to and on Election Day.

When it’s election time, the Contra Costa County Elections Office teams hits the road. In fact, you’ll probably see us in your community.

In an effort to make voting more convenient for registered voters, elections officials will be offering a variety of mobile drop-off locations for vote-by-mail voters.

Locations during the May 2015 election included night and weekend stops at Farmers Markets, popular shopping plazas and events.

“We want to try and make voting as easy as possible,” Registrar of Voters Joe Canciamilla said. “If people are planning on going to the Farmers Market, out shopping, or out on their lunch break, they can take their ballot with them. It also reminds people that an election is coming up.”

During non-election times, the Elections team will be out with fun and exciting new ways to engage residents and show how easy it is to get involved in the community and vote.

Look for us at pumpkin patches, high school football games, community nights and other events throughout the county.
