Election Officer Workday
The workday starts at 6:00 am. and ends between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
AM clerks work 6:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
PM clerks work from 1:30 p.m. until the ballots go to the depot, between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Additionally, the Inspector and one other clerk must travel with the ballots to the depot. Their day ends at approximately 10:00 p.m.
Everyone should have adequate time for meals and breaks during the day. The Inspector will schedule the breaks. The busiest times are at the beginning and the end of the day and from Noon - 1:00 p.m.
